Az Pride & Prejudice projekt június 25-től 30-ig lesz a festői szépségű olasz nagyvárosban a csizma melletti kis szigeten.
A héten 20 másik fiatallal lehettek együtt egy hétig, akik Olaszországból, Spanyolországból, Szlovéniából és Magyarországról utaznak a helyszínre.
5 helyre lehet jelentkezni 16-től 21 éves korig. A fiatalok felnőtt kísérője Weintraut Rita.

The present European situation on migration and the strengthening political and social
discriminatory extremism calls for action in order to (re-)construct a peaceful, respectful society which sees diversity of cultures not as danger but as resource for growth.
According to the Council of Europe’s statement on discrimination and intolerance, counteracting discrimination through education can be the tool to establish a respectful, inclusive Europeansociety. Following the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme, the general objective of the projectis to enhance the actions promoting diversity, intercultural and inter-religious dialogue, common values of freedom, tolerance and respect of human rights as they are the funding values of the European Union (Article 2 of the Treaty establishing a European Union).

The project aims to:
– Support young people in the acquisition of knowledge, qualities and attitudes aimed at overcoming prejudices, addressing discriminatory behaviour against different social groups (migrants, LGBT community, women, etc.);
– Encourage the active participation of young people in society and to promote volunteering;
– Strengthen the values of friendship, tolerance and solidarity among young people, encouraging the meeting and sharing between different backgrounds, cultures, habits and lifestyles.
The topics we will focus on are: bias, positive discrimination and bystander effect (phenomenon in which individuals are less likely to offer help to a victim when other people are present), trying to become honest with ourselves and admit that everybody has prejudices, even the most open- minded ones and the ones who themselves are discriminated.
Feltétel: az útiköltséget minden résztvevőnek meg kell előlegeznie, amit a program után 275 euro összegig visszatérítenek.
